Jharkhand Junior Translator Competitive Examination (JJTCE) 2025
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has announced the Jharkhand Junior Translator Competitive Examination (JJTCE) 2023, with applications open for 2025, to recruit 13 Junior Translator posts under the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Rajbhasha, Government of Jharkhand. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Hindi, English, or an equivalent subject from a recognized university, with Hindi or English as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level, or as the medium of examination. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field is required. The age limit is 22 to 35 years as of August 1, 2023, with relaxations for reserved categories: up to 38 years for females (other than SC/ST), and further relaxations for SC/ST and disabled candidates as per JSSC rules.
Application Process: Applications are accepted online via the official JSSC website (jssc.jharkhand.gov.in) from July 5, 2025, to August 4, 2025. The application fee is ₹100 for general candidates, ₹50 for SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand, and waived for candidates with 40% or more disability. Payment can be made via debit card, credit card, or net banking. Candidates must upload their photo, signature, and documents like educational certificates, Aadhar card, caste certificate, and resident certificate by August 8, 2025. Corrections to the application can be made between August 9 and 10, 2025.
Selection Process: The selection involves a written examination with descriptive questions, lasting 2 hours, followed by document verification. The exam tests translation proficiency and language skills in Hindi and English, aligning with the job’s requirements.
